Rolf & Daughter’s Germantown

When we aren’t working on our Real Estate game, you can probably find us eating out and about in some of Nashville’s delectable local restaurants. Now more than ever, the culinary scene is booming and it’s mouth-watering cuisine can be added to the list of reasons to love Music City! From local coffee shops to fine dining, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here’s some of our Realtors very favorite local spots to enjoy a variety of Nashville’s delicious cuisine.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

No other restaurant represents the South like Hattie B’s Hot Chicken! Being a Nashville staple, you must experience the choice of white or dark meat ranging from a barely there ‘mild’ taste to an insane ‘shut the cluck up.’ Don’t forget to indulge in desert, as they are known for their sinfully delicious cobbler and banana pudding. Wash it all down with a glass of sweet tea and you’re officially Southern Living.

Pinewood Social

Their tagline, ‘A place to meet.’ explains Pinewood Social perfectly. You can spend morning, noon and night at Pinewood. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the Crema coffee bar in the morning, grab a casual lunch with a co-worker, or lay back with cocktails and dinner with a friend. With a pool located out back, stop in for some sunshine during the summer, or stay in-doors with their bowling alley. Pinewood delivers a fun experience for any and every occasion. Thankfully, their incredible atmosphere is a fair match for their menu options. The burger, fried broccoli, and Kale Salad are among our favorites!

Husk

Husk is by far one of Nashville’s favorite restaurants – with countless write-ups and accolades.“If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door.” Showcasing inventive Southern cuisine, Executive Chef Sean Brock’s and Brian Baxter present some of the finest fare in Nashville. Be sure to order up some deviled eggs with pickled Okra and Trout Roe, and menu classics such as the South Carolina Shrimp and Chopped Okra stew.

The Farm House

Offering traditional Southern cuisine with a modern day twist, menu highlights include house-cured and smoked meats, homemade vinegars and house-preserved produce. The incredible chef Trey Cioccia also provides fresh vegetables directly from his own Davidson County garden for a true “farm to fork” dining experience.

The Flipside

flipside-12-south-nashville-20-480x320A fun, local restaurant with a retro style of their own. Featuring “Jack’s Chicken” — chicken breast pounded thin, seasoned bread crumbs, and then pan sauteed in extra virgin olive oil — they offer many different wild styles to choose from. Whether you’re feeling adventurous to try some peanut butter on your chicken, a fried egg, or play it safe with the arugula & avocado chicken, you’ll see why The Flipside has earned many rave reviews.

5th and Taylor

Upscale dining, 5th and Taylor offers refined American fare served in a lofty, rustic-industrial atmosphere. This topped 9/10 of our Realtor’s favorites lists!!! Surrounded with a tree-lined patio, the energy is calm and relaxing, making you feel right at home. The food is to die for; from sweet and savory honey duck wings, to the most incredible pork you’ve ever feasted on, you are sure to find a creative meal at 5th and Taylor that really hits the spot!

Etch

With an open kitchen, allowing guests to see into the inner workings of Chef Deb Paquette’s cooking magic, Etch is bound to wow your taste buds with its bold-flavored cuisine. Paquette has been voted Nashville’s best chef multiple times, for good reason — he never disappoints! Private dining and reservations are available.

Rolf & Daughters

With a packed house night after night, Rolf & Daughters serves up Mediterranean influenced dishes and is sure to keep you in your seat to enjoy cocktails while taking in the 18-foot ceilings, exposed brick and concrete, and beautiful iron windows. Nestled in the former boiling house at the Werthan Factory, you’re sure to make this a staple in your dinner routine. The pork ragout is a must, and the seaweed butter and sourdough will put all other bread & butter to shame!

With the exponential growth of food options, inhabitants, and businesses, Nashville has proven itself as one of the premiere hot spots for relocation! Check out some of these local listings and enjoy Music City full-time with us!
