1.  “The Time Jumpers” at 3rd & Lindsley
Lead by Vince Gill, you can find The Time Jumpers” every Monday at 3rd and Lindsley, located near downtown Nashville.  With the band consisting of 10 Grammy-nominated session players, this music is bound to blow you away.  They always keep you on your toes with special guest performers, so you never know who you’re going to see!  Past guests have included Reba, Kacey Musgraves and many more!  Enjoy cocktails and food from 3rd & Lindsley’s assorted menu, sit back, and enjoy the show.  Find tickets here:

2.  “Whisky Jam” at Winners Bar & Grille
This weekly event is a staple for Nashville locals.  Every Monday, up and coming musicians play from 8pm-into the night at Winners Bar & Grille, located in Midtown.  This is the hottest place to hear new music, hang with friends, and network with fellow songwriters.  See you there! More info here:

3.  Opry Mills Mall
Of course we are all familiar with the Grand Ole Opry, but have you heard of what’s going on next door?  Every Saturday and Sunday from 12noon-close, you can find Nashville’s newest rising talent performing on the Opry Mills stage, located inside the Opry Mills Mall near Claim Jumpers.  Be sure to stop by!  You just might discover the next Carrie Underwood.

4.  Basement East
Located in East Nashville, The Basement East has a calendar full of killer local and touring musicians ranging from rock to pop to country and beyond.  With a capacity of 400 and a stocked bar, you’re bound to have a great view of the band and a great time in the easy hangout vibe.

5.  Station Inn
Widely regarded as one of the best bluegrass venues around, you are sure to experience the heart of Nashville’s top pickers when attending a Station Inn show.  It’s not rare for country music superstars to pop in.  You may find yourself sitting next to Dierks Bentley!  Located in The Gulch.

6.  Bluebird Cafe
The well known Bluebird Cafe has gained more popularity after being a featured landmark on ABC’s former show “Nashville”, now airing on CMT.  With a “listening only” policy, hit songwriters form an acoustic, intimate round inside the cafe where they sing and tell the stories behind their hit songs.  You’ll want to act quickly, as this small, intimate venue sells out quickly.
