Every Day Is Unique
Even though each evening’s menu is unique and springs fresh each day from their collective inspiration, Chef Anderson will make every effort to accommodate vegetarians and those with specific food allergies. Advance notice is all they ask.
The experience is one to be savored, but it is a casual experience. Seating is bar height. There are no linen tablecloths here. There is banter and informality There is discussion about food. And, there are new treats daily. The dining experience goes on for approximately three to three and a half hours. There is no intermission.
Patrons may choose pre-selected wine pairings with each dinner for a set additional charge. There is also a select wine list and an on-staff sommelier. Diners also have the option of bringing their own bottles, with a corkage fee charged.
Reservations Are a Must
The Catbird Seat opens at 5:45 p.m. Reservations may be made until 9:45 p.m.
The reservation system is a bit complex: A rolling 30-day calendar governs. Reservations must be made online. There is a wait list available. It is a very popular place, and some have been known to alter their trip plans if a cancellation means available space at the table.
