It seems like everyday Nashville has a new restaurant or bar opening its doors. The food and drink scene is truly like no other city’s. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up. (We get it!) So, we pulled together a list of some of the newer Nashville spots to check out! Whether you’re just in town for a visit or you’re a Nashville native looking to switch it up a bit, this list is for you.
Folk
If you’ve been in Nashville a while, you’ve probably dined at (or at least heard of) Rolf and Daughters. Folk is the much anticipated second restaurant from Rolf and Daughters chef and owner, Philip Krajeck. Located in McFerrin Park, this pizzeria features a simple layout and design, a beautiful bar and a dinner menu ranging from ramp toast and beef fillet americanne to pork milanesa and fermented potato pizza pies.
Kuchnia + Keller
The brains and heart behind this Germantown eatery is Aaron Clemins, longtime sous chef of City House. Inspired by his Wisconsin upbringing and his Eastern European heritage, Clemins has created a unique and concise menu of dishes ranging from beef goulash and roast pork leg to charcoal octopus and kielbasa. And if you love dessert, you must try the Devil’s Food Layer Cake!
Flamingo Cocktail Club
This spot is a new Wedgewood Houston gem. The cocktail bar is located in the back of Falcon Coffee Bar, also a new addition to the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. What used to be an old church is now a coffee shop by day and a swanky bar by night. The club has ample space for dancing and features a VIP bar on the upper level.
Geist
This new restaurant and bar on the edge of Historic Germantown sits in the former home of an 118-year-old blacksmith shop. Featuring renovations of one of our cities older buildings, the decor and design is a must see. Not to mention that the dining room is furnished with handcrafted pieces from local artisans. Perfect for a summer evening, guests and visitors are invited to sit in the outdoor courtyard and garden featuring an outdoor stove.
