Looking for something outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville, but still close enough to enjoy the perks of the city? We have great news for you! Nashville’s suburb game is strong. Here are three suburbs that should be on your radar as you look for your new Nashville home.

1.) Franklin, Tennessee

Chosen as the 4th Best Place to Live 2017 by Money, Franklin sits just 15 miles south of Nashville. Named after Benjamin Franklin, this quaint town is one of the oldest in Middle Tennessee and prides itself on its rich history.  Historic Downtown Main Street has much to offer in the way of shopping and dining. Stop into Frothy Monkey for a coffee, Puckett’s for a classic southern meal or swing into Philanthropy Fashion, Shuff’s Music Store, or White’s Mercantile for a fun and unique shopping experience.

Love old movies? Or live music? The Historic Franklin Theatre is the heartbeat of Downtown Franklin. The venue first opened its doors in 1937 and is now known for the showing of classic films and it’s live music. Artists such as Jeffrey Steele, Patty Griffin, Lindsey Buckingham and Sheryl Crow have played this very unique and special venue. Click here to view all available listings in Franklin.
