The historic 12 South Neighborhood has quickly become one of the most popular areas in Nashville. Start your unique shopping adventure at MODA, an elegant boutique that features modern, original apparel and accessories. Close by is Imogene + Willie which is housed in an old gas station, and has become a local hangout for celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons. On the same block, Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand store, Draper James, offers a bright shop full of clothing and housewares. Stroll down the street to White’s Mercantile, a general store opened by Hank Williams’s granddaughter, Holly Williams.
OUTDOORS & FITNESS
If you’re into the outdoors, fitness, and yoga, 12 South is the perfect area for you. With a few yoga studios, fitness centers, and Sevier Park, the outdoors and wellness solutions are right outside your door. Sevier Park’s 20 acres include playgrounds, picnic shelters, playing fields, walking trails, a creek bed and an abundance of trees and open space. It is also home to the Sevier Park Community Center, which opened in June 2014. While you’re out and about during the warmer months, enjoy the Farmer’s Market every Tuesday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
